Hey everyone. Wow two posts in one day. If you are here for my Nutshells DT card, please scroll down to the next entry.

In honor of the release of the Twilight Sage: Eclipse today I am bringing you a card which was partially inspired by the cover of the book, which I demonstrated by using the red ribbon across the card.

I am so excited to see this movie. Several friends went to the midnight showing and said it was fantastic. I am going tonight at 5:35 and I am counting the minutes until I can see all the Werewolves La Push boys with their shirts off. Heehee.

Another Pink Frosting card

Happy Thursday to you all. Today is my Friday this week and I could not be happier to spend the next 3 days off. I have lots going on too, including participating in the local Relay 4 Life walk to honor a childhood friend's Dad who passed away last year from Cancer. I am honored to walk with their family and lend my support.

Now onto my card for today. I am sharing another image from the Pink Frosting set that I have been given the opportunity to work with by the lovely ladies of nutcrafters . You can check this set out (and others) at http://www.nutcrafters.co.uk/zen/

Also dont forget that you have one week left to enter Challenge #17 Almost Free Choice Challenge at nutcrafters-nutshells . There is no theme or sketch to use, that's your free choice, the only condition is that you use a stamp or digistamp that they sell, e.g Magnolia, Harriet Hurst, Sarah Kay, and The Greeting Farm, along with thier own line of stamps.

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

1. Challenge #1 over at Tiffany Doodles http://tiffanydoodles.blogspot.com/ . This challenge was a sketch and you could use any stamp. I really liked the sketch and although mine left off one ribbon bow, I am really happy with the way it came out.

2. The challenge this week at Drunken Stampers http://drunkenstampers.wordpress.com/ was for Birthday cards. This was made for my Mother in Law for her birthday next week.

3. The challenge this week at All That Scraps http://atsblog.typepad.com/wednesdayschallenge/ is buttons & ribbon.

4. Simon Says Stamp http://www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ is a recipe challenge this week. One image, 2 patterned papers, and 3 different types of embellisments.

Fun in the Sun

Hey everyone and Happy friday to you all. My card for you today is representative of what I am dreaming of here in the rainy state of Oregon..........SUN. I made this card for a number of challenges, most of them dealing with summer.

1. The sketch is from the All That Scraps Wednesday challenge found here http://atsblog.typepad.com/wednesdayschallenge/ . I LOVED doing this sketch and I will definately be using it again.

2. The colors were from this weeks challenge over at the Color Throwdown found here http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/ . The colors are black, pink, green and turquoise. My only issue is that the background cardstock didnt photograph pink which it is. Oh well.

3. The Pink Elephant was asking for bright colors this week. Check out the DT examples here http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/05/pink-elephant-tpe69.html

4. Stamptacular Sunday was calling for beachy cards. Well Anya is certainly dressed for the beach and it reminds me of the colors you would see people wearing at the beach. Go give the DT some love (Especially my friend Dee) http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/

4. Now Cupcake Crafts http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/ and Raise the Bar http://raisethebarchallenge.blogspot.com/ both put out the call for Summer cards. Well this card is pretty darn summery. LOL.

Well thats all for today. I'll be back next week with a few more to share and one showing off the Pink Frosting set from nutcrafters
